Machine safety in the cardboard & packaging industry
By using safety keys with mandatory key removal, the risk of entrapment can be avoided.
Corrugators consist out of several machine guarded areas, the access doors to these areas may only be opened when the machine has been switched off and has come to a complete stop (controlled stop). With mechanical interlocks it is possible to create a safe environment in accordance with the Machinery Directive.
